Assessing and Developing the Entrepreneurial Mindset
Presented by Dr. Jennifer Hall
Dr. Jennifer Hall is the Director of Coaching and Feedback at Eckerd College’s Leadership Development Institute (LDI), an affiliate of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®). A few years ago, along with her colleagues Dr. Mark Davis and Dr. Pam Mayer, Jen embarked on a journey to develop an assessment of entrepreneurial mindset. The resulting instrument, the Entrepreneurial Dimensions ProfileTM (EDP), has generated a great deal of interest not only among corporate leadersundefinedthe original intended users of the EDPundefinedbut also among actual and prospective entrepreneurs. An entrepreneurial mindset, it turns out, is potentially beneficial in almost any professional or educational setting.
A licensed psychologist, Jennifer holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut, and a B.S. degree from Trinity College. She served as a full-time professor of psychology at Eckerd College for five years, and has published research in diverse areas, including on the topic of personality influences on professional effectiveness. She has over 20 years of experience as a clinician and is a BCC Board Certified Coach.
